February 1983 CLIC Book Diagram. (Glen Icanberry collection)

Parlier was different from other towns along the Santa Fe's Eastside Branches in that the packing houses were located on sidings that were perpendicular to the main line.

Chris Sorenson Packing Co. in the 1980s. It was located on siding #2131 on the CLIC diagram. (Randy Sunada photo)

By the mid-2000s the entire complex of packing houses was operated by Sunwest Fruit Co. This building still had the Chris Sorensen signage in March 2008. (James Lancaster photo)

More Chris Sorensen signage in November 2006. By March 2008 this sign had been painted over. (James Lancaster photo)

are more packing houses. (Randy Sunada photo)

This is what the view looking south looked like in March 2008. T
he entire complex is now run by Sunwest Fruit Co. The Chris Sorensen sign is barely visible at the far right. (James Lancaster photo)
