Packing Houses Along The
Joint SP-ATSF Exeter Branch from Calico to Ducor
and Richgrove Branch from Richgrove to Jovista

Both the Southern Pacific and the Santa Fe operated on the south end of the Exeter Branch and on the Richgrove Branch. The Santa Fe operations extended as far north as the north side of Ducor where their own Porterville-Orosi District (aka the Minkler Southern Railroad) branched off to the northeast toward Ultra.

This area had a couple of citrus packing houses but was mostly a grape growing area with packing houses and wineries.
